George Neville, 1st Duke of Bedford (1461 – 4 May 1483) was an English nobleman, whose birth made him a candidate for the status of a great magnate; his failure to achieve this was largely a result of the political failure of his father and uncle. He was the son of John Neville, Earl of Northumberland (and later Marquess Montagu), a nephew of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick. George's mother was Isobel Ingoldsthorpe, only daughter and heiress of Sir Edmund Ingoldsthorpe and Joan Tiptoft.
Neville Dickie (born 1 January 1937 in Durham) is an English boogie-woogie and stride piano player. He has performed all over Europe and North America. After serving in the RAF, Dickie left Durham and moved to London, where he began playing piano for small wages in various pubs. It was only after Doreen Davies, who was head of BBC Radio 2, noticed him at a BBC audition that he took a notable stride in his musical career. He has played on hundreds of BBC Radio broadcasts.

Neville Dickie is one of the World’s finest exponents of Stride piano and Boogie Woogie. Equally respected in Britain and the United States of America, he is one of a rare breed of British musician who has managed to make a name for himself on both sides of the pond. Neville, and his wife Pat, also ran Sutton Jazz Club in Surrey, England, for 27 years, finally closing its doors at the Thomas Wall Centre in September 2016.
