EARTHRISE is a Symphonic Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United States. The band starts to play mostly live, but in 1977 in a small studio they release their first album just called Earthrise, but being that this was the first big project of the studio, they were disappointed with the thin sound of the album, so they only pressed 400 copies, some of which were sold and others were given to friends and after.
In 2005 a second album was released, this time titled Earthrise II: Artists for the Environment. In 1999, U2 would again contribute a track to the ELF, this time Mofo (Phunk Phorce Mix) was used on the double CD, Planet Electrica: Protection. The proceeds from this later album went to the people of Honduras, in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch.

Shop Vinyl and CDs and complete your collection. Always nice to see artists doing something for the environment, especially with a line-up like this one! Not your top-album but still a nice cd to listen too. When I was examining my copy I found out something weird. My copy has 3 the same backsleeves all pushed into 1 jewelcase.
Their first album "Earthrise" was very rare and sought after globally. The big question by the fans has always been, "when is the next album?". For more music by Bill Drobile, please visit billdrobile. com I'd like to thank Paul Girard, Earthrise's original bass player, for being on hand to cover the bass for live performances, and Kenn Pierog for his assistance in the post production of this album.
EARTHRISE is a sludge metal music artist.
