Sanctuary's release of Who Do You Love: The Anthology by rootsy English hard rock and blues band Juicy Lucy, which contains all three of their three proper albums (Juicy Lucy, Lie Back and Enjoy It, and Get a Whiff of This) is proof positive that they'll reissue anything. Juicy Lucy did score with a remake of Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love," which was a vehicle for slide guitarist Glenn Ross Campbell, on their 1969 debut, but that was about it. (These days one hit single would never guarantee a second, let alone third, album.
This version of Juicy Lucy released the album Do That And You'll Lose It in 2006 and toured the UK with Nazareth. They played at the Cambridge Rock Festival in 2008. In 2009, a new line-up of Juicy Lucy was formed as - due to health problems - Owen was unable to continue touring on a regular basis. The songs "Mississippi Woman" and "Who Do You Love?" (from the band's first album) were regularly performed live by this trio, until they parted ways in 2018. Owen occasionally played live in France under the moniker "Ray Owen's Juicy Lucy", accompanied by Mike Jarvis and Spencer Blackledge from the 1990s incarnation of the band, and latterly with Sylvain Galesso on drums and Rosie Woodland on bass guitar.
Juicy Lucy is a blues-rock band officially formed on 1 October 1969. After the demise of The Misunderstood, vocalist Ray Owen, steel guitarist Glenn Ross Campbell, and saxophone player Chris Mercer formed Juicy Lucy. The group later recruited guitarist Neil Hubbard, bassist Keith Ellis, and drumme. ore . Year: 2002.

Who Do You Love: The Anthology. Juicy Lucy finally disbanded shortly thereafter. Ray Owen revived the name in 1995 for the album Here She Comes Again which found Mike Jarvis (guitar), Andy Doughty (bass), and Spencer Blackledge (drums) rounding out the band. A couple of years later, this version of the band broke up, but Owen wanted to keep on going, especially when he formed a musical partnership with a guitarist known as Mr. Fish. Legal problems kept the new band from using the Juicy Lucy name so they gigged as Ray Owen's Moon.
