Robbie Robertson is the solo debut album by Canadian rock musician Robbie Robertson, released in 1987. Though Robertson has been a professional musician since the late 1950s, notably a founder of and primary songwriter for The Band, this was his first proper solo album. Robbie Robertson won the Juno Award for "Album of the Year", and producers Daniel Lanois and Robertson won the "Producer of the Year" Juno award, both in 1989 (there were no Juno Awards in 1988).

Dancing in the Moonlight" is a song written and originally recorded by the French-American rock group King Harvest. The song was written by Sherman Kelly, produced by Jack Robinson, originally recorded in 1970 by Kelly's band Boffalongo, and then released as a single by King Harvest in 1972, reaching number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2000 a cover by English band Toploader became a worldwide hit and achieved multi-Platinum status in the United Kingdom.

Dance in the moonlight, oh Dance in the moonlight, oh, oh, oh, oh Dance in the moonlight, oh. Girl, you know I'm far from perfect But I'm really worth it She say that I'm pretty I'm prettier in person I'm drivin' her crazy, you know I'm really swervin' I'm cuttin' too deep, I'm feelin' like a surgeon. This won’t be on Apple Music until the album 999 is there which is the album this song is featured in. It gotta go through some processes then it should be there. Moonlight" Track Info.

Moonlight plays out as if Spoon is standing dead center in a vast, empty warehouse. Thousands of seats are placed close to the band, and there's a drawn-out nervousness- total silence- before they produce a single sound. At that moment, a Hammond-esque drive kicks off "Small Stakes" with enough energy to get even a factoryful of hipsters doing the wave. The difference is in the distance.
