The discography of Fleetwood Mac consists of 17 studio albums, 8 live albums, 23 compilation albums, one extended play single, and 62 singles. The 1967–1969 era Blue Horizon albums (Fleetwood Mac, Mr. Wonderful, The Pious Bird of Good Omen and Fleetwood Mac in Chicago) and 1971 outtakes album The Original Fleetwood Mac have been remastered and reissued on CD, as have the 1975–1987 era Warner Bros. studio albums Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, Tusk, Mirage, and Tango in the Night.
Their first album was the self-titled album commonly referred to as the garbage can album, and it is here in its 12-song entirety. My recollection is it came out very close to the release of Jeff Beck's Truth, and those two albums are equally powerful. Seven songs from those lps wind up in this collection, but before that are included two songs that Mac backed Chicago pianist Eddie Boyd and one by Chicken Shack (not Fleetwood Mac) featuring their pianist Christine Perfect singing I'd Rather Go Blind. She later married McVie and joined the group when Green left in May of 1970. Fleetwood Mac was in the upper echelon of the Brit Blues bands and the way they have stood the test of time gives testimony that they might have been the very best. They have my vote, but Peter Green leaves, Jeremy Spencer leaves, Danny Kirwin leaves. This is where I get off the bus.
