Album The Slide Area. Which Came First Lyrics. Willie Dixon & Ry Cooder). You may be a hater, you may be a lover You bet your life one destroys the other I don't know how it all began, which came first The egg or the hen. Now, you bet your life without a doubt Asking a masked man to leat you out He's got you so tight that you can't even see That ray-gun is pointed right at you and me. You won't see it coming You won't feel the blow You won't get no warning You won't never know You can't start it sooner And fix it up later And you ain't going to read about it in the newspaper.
Which came first? The chicken or the egg? This age-old question touches, in another form, on the theory of evolution. Which came first, the plants or the insects, in particular the bees? If the plants came first, they would have had to be plants that could survive without pollination. If, however, they had no need for bees, then there was no need for bees to evolve. Further, if plants were able to survive without bees, there was no need for plants to have a particular colour or smell to attract bees, there being no bees to attract. A bee cannot exist by itself

Fireball is the fifth album by English Rock band Deep Purple, released in 1971 and the second with the Mk II line-up. It was recorded at various times between September 1970 and June 1971. It became the first of the band's two UK No. 1 albums, though it did not stay on the charts as long as its predecessor, Deep Purple In Rock. The original UK version had "Demon's Eye" as its third track, but did not include "Strange Kind of Woman", which was instead released as a single there
It seems to be exactly the same tune as The Musical Priest. Re: Which came first? The version I was taught was off an album by unheard of Irish Australians called predictably ‘The Celts’. I have never actually listened to any other version, so maybe they actually just wove the two together as there is a long interlude in between the middle verses that sounds the same. So thanks for the detailed reply - I guess what’s been nagging me for 15 odd years is pretty obvious - they are 2 songs in the same key interwoven (although annoyingly their sleeve notes make no mention of The Musical Priest bit).
Now That's What I Call Music (also simply titled Now or Now 1) is the first album from the popular Now! series that was released in the United Kingdom on 28 November 1983. Initial pressings were released on vinyl and audio cassette. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the album and series, the album was re-released on CD for the first time in 2009. Alternative longer mixes of "Only for Love", "Double Dutch" and "Candy Girl" were included in place of the original shorter single mixes from 1983
