You better treat my baby good If you know what's good for you You'd better never make her cry. Go on make one mistake And I'll step in and take Away the ache in her heart So,. You better treat my baby good If you know what's good for you Don't ever let me see her blue.
Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto; May 14, 1936 – December 20, 1973) was an American singer who performed in a range of music genres, including pop, rock, jazz, folk, and country.
This is the discography of American singer Bobby Darin. It lists Darin's original singles, LPs, and compilations from his career. Darin recorded his first single, "Rock Island Line"/"Timber", on the Decca label in 1956, and released his eponymous debut album two years later in 1958.
You better treat my baby good if you know what's good for you Don't ever let me see her blue Go ahead and put her down once too often around a friend in town and you'll see She's back with me. Who am I kiddin'? She's better off without me now and I know that's good for you But, all the same, keep this in mind Just make sure ev'ry day that you treat her the way she'd like to say that you should Treat my baby good. Just make sure ev'ry day that you treat her the way she'd like to say that you should Treat my baby good.
In 1963, Bobby Darin turned 27 in good form. In box office terms, he was a prime nightclub attraction; he had some new hit singles to his already illustrious name; and, as the Billboard cutting below shows, his publishing and production firm . Music was on the up and up. Already five years into a US chart career that had started with ‘Splish Splash,’ he landed one of his biggest 45s of his life with ‘You’re The Reason I’m Living,’ and followed that No. 3 success with the No. 10 entry ’18 Yellow Roses,’ both his own compositions. The latter song also gave Darin a new UK top 40 single. 18 Yellow Roses entered the US album chart at No. 122, curiously in the same week that the single not included on it, ‘Treat My Baby Good,’ entered the Hot 100. That track reached No. 43, while the ‘Roses’ album peaked at a modest No. 98. Listen to 18 Yellow Roses on this site.
Abilene, Abilene Prettiest town I ever seen Women there don't treat you mean In Abilene my Abilene. I sit alone most every night Watchin' those freight trains pull out-a sight How I wish they'd take me back To Abilene my Abilene huuum, huuum. Abilene, Abilene Prettiest town I ever seen Women there don't treat you mean In Abilene my Abilene. Find more lyrics at ※ Mojim.
