War to End All Wars is the thirteenth studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on 7 November 2000 through Pony Canyon (Japan), Spitfire Records (United States) and DreamCatcher Records (Europe). While on tour for this album, singer Mark Boals left the band and was replaced for a brief period by Jorn Lande; however, Boals returned to finish the tour. The instrumental song "Molto Arpeggiosa" is often mislabelled as "Arpeggios from Hell".
The war to end all wars is coming, but it will follow a time of global conflict and turmoil unlike anything ever seen (Matthew 24:21 Matthew 24:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. American King James Version ). We saw that the first of the four horsemen of Revelation 6 represents a massive Satan-inspired religious deception. The ride of the second of the four horsemen unleashes the malignant forces of evil and removes the last vestiges of peace from the earth.
Album-quality tribute to metallica.

For Metallica, The Four Horsemen could refer to the four members of the band. A group called Gamma (led by Ronnie Montrose) has a song called "Four Horsemen" that Mustaine played in his pre-Metallica band, Panic. The band never did the cover, but they did appropriate the title. The bit of "Sweet Home Alabama" in the middle of the song came about after Dave Mustaine had been listening to some Lynryd Skynyrd. The original album title was "Metal Up Yer Ass," with artwork of an arm holding a knife coming out of a toilet bowl. They thought it might cause problems, so they toned it down to Kill 'Em All, with a bloody hammer as artwork. More songs from Metallica. More songs with numbers in the title. More songs inspired by the Bible. More songs with biblical references.
The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times. The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2: I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. This first horseman likely refers to the Antichrist, who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him. The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ, who will also return on a white horse (Revelation 19:11-16).
The Four Horsemen" is the second track off Metallica's debut album, Kill 'Em All. It is based on the older song "The Mechanix. For "The Four Horsemen," James Hetfield rewrote the lyrics and Kirk Hammett added a solo in the middle. The Four Horsemen" was originally written by Dave Mustaine in his former band Panic entitled "The Mechanix". The song was one of Metallica's staples during their clubbing days, albeit with no melodic interlude and different lyrics.
The phrase " the war to end all wars " was historically used as a description of World War I, especially in the period from 1918 to 1939.
