No Portion a Gal. Artist: Sang Hugh. Album: Reggae - the Essential Pulse Series Disc 1, 2008. This is one of my favourite tunes from the early 70s and brings back lots of good memories.

Sang Hugh was born Keith Oliver Morgan, on May 16th, 1951, in Water Works, Westmoreland, Jamaica. He moved to Montego Bay at the age of 7, and at age 12 he moved to Rocky Point, Clarendon. As a school boy, he earned his name playing cricket with his friends. As he mostly umpired, he was named after the famous umpire, Sang Hugh. Sam Cooke played a significant roll in his musical influence.
